Dirt Under my Fingernails

Dirt under my fingernails again. It’s been a long time. This is what makes me happy.

April is Daffodil Month.

April 27th is Daffodil Day.

“Every 3 minutes another Canadian is faced with fighting cancer.” (Canadian Cancer Society)

My daffodil is for the multiple women in my family who have fought and are still fighting cancer.

On April 27th:
– volunteer;
– spread the word;

Spring Seedlings and … Snow (sigh)

It is April 6th. Last year I was sitting on my deck at this point in the year, basking in warm temps and watching tomato plants grow. This year, I’m inside with the seedlings.

I liked last year’s April better!
